Grace, Grace!

Grace, Grace!

Today is the fifth day of the fifth month of the year. Remember that 5 means grace. I said five twice today and when I say something twice it means it shall surely come to pass, it is being established by the testimony of 2-3 witnesses.
I [Holy Spirit], the Father and the Son are 3 in one so if I say it twice you know that it has been established.
Today is a day of favor and grace. If you hear the voice of the Lord today, do not harden your hearts.
You do not hear my voice when you are interrupting Me constantly with the sound of your own words. Your words are not My words. Your ways are not My ways.
In quietness and confidence is your strength. You are now on the second half of that verse. [Isaiah 30:15 - In repentance/returning and rest is your salvation. In quietness and confidence is your strength]
You’ve been in the first part: in repentance/returning and rest is your salvation. And you’ve done well with repenting and resting.
But now you will once again take up your sword. Your sword is the Word of God.
It’s not just the word of God from the Bible. It is the word from My lips which I am currently speaking.
This is what Yeshua meant in the wilderness when He told satan it is written that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
This is the bread you knew nothing about. This is the bread going uneaten.
It is the bread of life.
It is the bread you receive and eat by shutting your mouth and hearing the voice and will of the Father and then speaking a word in season.
This is the sword of the Spirit. Yeshua did not battle satan with many words. He did not have to.
After 40 days of fasting and feasting only on the sustaining word of the Father, He was keenly aware of the voice and word of the Father and this is why His launch into public ministry began with 40 days of fasting just like Moses fasted 40 days to get the pure word of God.
The reason Yeshua did not need many words is because He knew the exact one He was supposed to use in the moment.
My people, You need to listen to me, to the voice of Your Heavenly Father in order to know which word will defeat satan in any given moment.
You need to be listening, you need to be quiet to listen so that in any given moment you know the word from my lips which will defeat satan.
Take heed.
Listen carefully to the sound of My voice.
It is a trumpet sound, a clarion call, a cry, a sounding of an alarm, it is a roar, it is a... [Holy Spirit paused speaking here and my mind filled in something that didn't feel quite right], it is an utterance.
Just like you had to pause right there to hear My voice and you had something else inserted that didn’t sound right because your mind picked up on another voice when I got silent, so you will need to quiet yourself and listen so that you can hear the pure, unadulterated word of the Lord, a word aptly spoken.
"A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold
In settings of silver." Proverbs 25:11

These were the words I received from the Lord this morning after He woke me up during the 5 o'clock hour on 5.5. These words came just two days after the Lord invited me to fully step into my calling and step out in faith to share a word He had given to me.

One week ago today the Lord woke me up at 6:34AM, told me to look up John 6:34 and gave me a dream about bread. I labored last week on a blog post regarding the dream, but I was unable to complete the post because He turned my attention to birthing the message He was giving me for Sunday and because He is still unpacking the dream to me.

Turns out I was delivering triplets, fraternal ones. This word I am releasing today, the blog post to follow about the dream and the message I delivered on Sunday are a three part message. I will include a link to that message below and I will soon release a post detailing the dream and its interpretation. The transition to my message begins at around the 11:11 mark.

In the meantime, I will close this blog entry by attempting to sum up what I hear Holy Spirit communicating to us in this tri-fold word.

TLDR Summary

We have entered a new season of grace on this day 5.5. We will have Holy Spirit dynamis power upon us like never before to will and to do what the Father has puposed in us. Don't shrink back from it. As we yield ourselves to Him and give Him all of us, He will give us more of Himself.

The Longer Version...

When Jesus performed the miracle of feeding the 5,000+ it was a sign. It showed them who He was and how He works. He took the little bit of food the disciples offered to Him, blessed it, broke it and distributed it to the 12 disciples who then in turn distributed it to 5,000 men + women + children.

Presumably each disciple began with only a tiny amount of food in each of their baskets that wouldn't even be enough for them to eat and be satisfied, but it increased the more they gave it out. And by the time they were done feeding what scholars estimate to be 15,000-20,000 folks total, they each collected up an entire basketful of leftovers for themselves.

Quick illustration: Last night I went to a party for our good friends who are embarking on a missionary journey. The Lord gave me an opportunity to pray over one of them before we parted, and I felt Holy Spirit on me while I was praying. Then she turned and prayed for me, and I felt Holy Spirit increase more and more upon me. I have never felt Holy Spirit upon me in quite the same way before in my life --and this was just a simple time of prayer with a friend. Ever since I said yes on Sunday and stepped out into my calling, I am feeling this whole new level of Holy Spirit anointing and presence. This is the kind of super-abundance we can expect in the days ahead as we say yes to our calling and step out in faith in simple, maybe even small acts of obedience. We will give bread to one person and the Lord will multiply the bread in our hands. And on top of it we will have basketfuls of leftovers for ourselves!

Jesus is the bread of life. He is calling us to partake of Him. Feast upon His Word written in the Bible. Feast upon His glorious presence. Feast upon each aspect of Himself which He will continue to unfold to us every day for the rest of our lives. Feast on His Holy Spirit which is at work within us giving life to our mortal bodies. Feast on His living and active rhema word which He is speaking to you when you read the Bible. Feast upon the portion of Holy Spirit which has been distributed to you and manifests as spiritual gifts for the profit of all (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)

And feast on doing the will of the Father. After ministering to the Samaritan woman at the well, the disciples are trying to feed Jesus (because He had gotten them to leave Him alone at the well under the guise that all 12 of them were needed to go in search of food.) But after they got back Jesus didn't seem hungry.

32 But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”

33 Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?”

34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

We are to feast on doing the will of the Father. And as we do, we will find that we still have an entire basketful of leftovers for ourselves.

God's grace is in absolute abundance in this moment in time. He has been forming His Davids in hiddeness, and we have been tending to the sheep and killing the bears and the lions in secret. But now it's time for us to step out in boldness with His grace heavy upon us to accomplish the will of our Heavenly Father. He has been making us anew in Christ Jesus, and as we go, He will supply our every need and equip us to do every good work which He prepared in advance for us to do.

Now it's time to slay the giant and enter the promised land. Every obstacle we've overcome to get to this moment has not only trained our hands for war and our fingers for battle, but it has prepared us to receive our blessing. We weren't ready before. He wasn't just preparing our blessing for us, He was preparing us for our blessing. If you give someone too much wealth, too many talents, too much influence, too much power before they are ready to steward it well, they will squander it all and self destruct in the process.

But now you are ready. You don't feel ready, but His grace is sufficient. You are not being asked to be enough because you could never feed yourself and others with a child's size lunch. But in Him you have all you need. You will learn as you go. Step out in faith, and our Heavenly Father will do exceedingly abundantly far above all you could ever ask or imagine. Your daily bread, in the masterful hands of Jesus, will be more than enough for you and all the people you are called to love and to serve. Delayed obedience is disobedience. No more delay!

The harvest is white and we are the laborers, the mighty remnant army of Holy Spirit-empowered farmers that the Lord of the harvest is sending into the field.

From this day forward, Lord, let us be on the lookout for at least one person You are calling us to serve. Every. Single. Day. We declare Ephesians 5:16: we are redeeming the time because the days are evil.

Amen, Lord! Let it be to your servant as You have spoken.
