Fulfillment

Fulfillment
Cherry tree from our old vineyard bearing much fruit

[Blog originally published on Medium 1.9.26 now edited for Rhema and Ruach.]

Every blessing, every revelation, every anointing from Abraham to Paul is coming to rest upon the head of God’s pure and spotless Bride. We are the culmination of the ages. All of the promises of what it means to be the people of God finds its fulfillment in us. Selah

I will need to meditate on this word right here for the rest of my life. I finished up Deuteronomy today and started Joshua. As I was reading the blessings Moses spoke upon each of the 12 tribes before he died I kept feeling in my spirit, “receive that blessing.”

Then I got to the incredible blessing of Joshua 1:3–9 which the Lord gave to him before Joshua was to lead the people of God into the promised land. And I heard the Lord explain what you just read in my first paragraph: that we can now claim for ourselves all the previous promises, blessings and anointings of the people of God as we read about them in His Word.

The deliverance of Israel from Egypt and their journey across the wilderness, through the Red Sea and over the bodies of beheaded giants into full possession of their promised land finds its full fulfillment in us.

Individually this describes the hero journey of each of us. When we call out to Him, Jesus takes each one of us by the hand and leads us out from everything that holds us captive, freeing and delivering our bodies, minds, souls and spirits from everything (from addictions, depression, and anxiety to abusive relationships or self harming behavior.)

But in addition to this being our own personal story, it is also the story of us collectively. It is not within the scope of this post to enumerate the myriad of ways evil has been dominating every aspect of life. But there are countless videos about the poisoning of our food, the poisoning of our minds, the initiation rituals required of people who want to be successful in music or television, the structures which support the drug industry, and the entire worldwide web of sex trafficking. We have not even plumbed the depths of what’s going on in our world today but when we hear story after story of survivors of satanic ritual abuse, we get a glimpse into a parallel reality involving countless precious souls which is too horrid to comprehend.

And God is reaching out to us in the midst of all of this, delivering us from all kids of evil and separating a people unto Himself who are on a missiom to save others still in bondage. The world is a pretty dark place but the good news is our Exodus from Egypt and our entry into the promised land is NOW. And we have all the promises of God and the angelic host as our backing. And we can expect God to literally move mountains to clear a path to freedom. We will see an acceleration of signs, miracles and wonders and even resurrections from the dead. What an exciting time to be alive!

I’m sure the Lord will be fleshing this out all year but what He wants us to know right now is that every time we read the Word we can appropriate the blessings of ages past. So go ahead and pray them over yourself, your family, your church, The Church…. The Word of God is a seed. The more you sew, the more you will harvest.

So sew liberally, meditating on the Word day and night. And you will be an unstoppable force, a Psalm 1 tree planted by water, yielding its fruit in season, your leaves never withering and everything you do flourishing.

And you can start by receiving the blessing and mantle of Joshua:

3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. 5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall [a]divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may [b]prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:3–9 NKJV

Amen, Lord! Let it be to your servant as You have spoken.
